The sacred Alder trees have long since declined in the woods of Cheshire and most of the trees around Alderley are less mystical these days but the legends abide in the several stories of wizards and witches that you will be regaled with by the locals. There is no mystery though in why the area is renowned these days for great places to eat and The Grill on the Edge provides a range of ambience and atmospheres in which to partake - the Terrace front and back for alfresco affairs, Downstairs for an intimate candlelit experience, upstairs in the airy restaurant and bar or upstairs in the private dining room which seats 12 for a stylish dinner party.
