Burg
Named after the town of Lynchburg, the birthplace of a certain popular Tennessee Whiskey, the Lynchburg Lemonade (or the 'Burg', as it is more affectionately known) is a refreshing combination of Tennessee Whiskey, triple sec, and lemon juice, sweetened with the addition of lemonade. It is unashamedly descended from the Collins family of drinks, but has spawned enough variations of it's own through the years.
Unfortunately, the good folks of Lynchburg never get to sample the delights of the drink named after their town. Lynchburg has been 'dry' since the end of Prohibition (1917-33), and only the signatures of 1000 residents could render it 'wet' again: with a population of just 361 at the last count, this could be a long way off!
