FEATURED BEERS
San Miguel Spaipain, 5.4% 330 ml
The story unravels from around a team of rather eccentrically named gentlemen including founder ‘Enrique Barretto y de Ycaza', Pedro Pablo Roxas and drafted in from Germany, brewmaster Heir Ludwig Kiene! Together they started the recipe for this smooth, and pleasantly hoppy beer. Its modern day makers claim ... "that one can drink lots of it". Always good to know they back their own winner!
Pacifico Clara Mexico, 4.5% 355 ml
A first class Mexican Pilsner-style beer from the Pacifico brewery located in the Pacific Ocean port city of Mazatlán, Mexico. Founded in 1900 by German settlers this beers fine winning style was quick to be capitalised on. With a distinctive seaside inspired label along with its musthave-more taste, Pacifico secured its favour among American tourists and from there as they say, the rest is history ... We'd recommend this particular perk with any of our seafood dishes -clean, bright and fresh!
Pilsner Urquell Czech, 4.4% 330 ml
The people of Pilsner have always been passionate about beer, so much so that unsatisfactory brews were emptied into the city's sewers! Enter Josef Groll, a visionary who created the World's first clear, golden beer in 1842. Its good drinking led to its name Pilsner Urquell, meaning ‘the Pilsner from the original source.' Now that is reassuring quality!
Spitfire England, 4.5% 500 ml
This eponymous brew has been endowed with social partner status by the RAF no less. So why not indulge yourself in a hearty half litre. This premium Kentish ale has a finely balanced flavour opening with a blast of rounded malt before the rousing almost spicy hops follow through to provide a complex finish. Chocks away Bunty!
